1989 Porsche Carrera 2 - 3D Printed Enclosures

This Porsche 911 received a comprehensive audio upgrade, including a custom enclosure designed for both performance and space efficiency. We 3D-scanned and 3D-printed 2 custom enclosures, and installed an 8-inch subwoofer in each one, mounted on the floor behind the front seats. This placement ensures optimal sound distribution while maintaining a discreet design. Despite their compact size, the enclosures provide output comparable to dual 12-inch subwoofers without compromising interior space.

The project included a complete audio system featuring components from Brax, Helix, and Match by Audiotec Fischer, sourced through MSC America. These components were selected for their precision and high-quality sound reproduction, ensuring a balanced and clear listening experience tailored to the vehicle’s acoustics.

Attention to detail was a priority, with a focus on maintaining a stealthy design that integrated seamlessly with the 911’s interior. The result is a high-performance system that offers exceptional sound without sacrificing functionality or aesthetics.
